Proxy promo code not working? How to check the discount

What to check when a code errors or the total stays put. A real Proxy-Seller order before payment: US IPv4 for a month, $1.80 → $1.53 with the researched code.

Updated October 4, 2026

First work out what happened. The code was rejected, or it was accepted with no visible discount, or it stopped working after you changed the order. Until you know the cause, hold off on paying and save the original total.

Error, total or order contents

  1. The code is rejected. Check that you copied it without spaces, that the domain is right, and that the code covers the product and your account. Fix the input. If the error stays, send support its exact text.
  2. The code is accepted, but the total is the same. See whether the discount was already included, whether there is a separate discount line, and whether the package changed. Compare the same order before and after the code, including any fees shown.
  3. The discount vanished after a plan change. Match the proxy type, term, number of IPs or traffic volume against what the code covers. Do not enlarge the order at random.

Do not create a second account just to test a new-customer offer. First-purchase, renewal and trial terms can differ, so find out the terms for your existing account.

What an applied discount looks like: a real Proxy-Seller form

On 4 October 2026, in the public Proxy-Seller form, we chose a private US IPv4, one IP, one month. Without a code the total was $1.80. After we entered researched, the form showed Success, a $0.27 discount line and a total of $1.53. That is 15% off the original price.

The form was open without logging in. Email and payment method stayed empty, and the extra automatic IP replacement stayed off. We did not submit the order. This confirms how one specific order is recalculated before payment. It does not confirm the final charge, a renewal, or that the code works on every product.

Auto-renewal was on by default in this form. The note said it renews every 30 days and links a card after payment. For a one-off purchase, check it separately from the discount.

Open the Proxy-Seller promo code terms to match your proxy type. In our catalog, researched is listed at 15% on IPv4, IPv6 and ISP, and at 10% on residential and mobile. So do not expect 15% on a mobile order with this offer.

If the provider asks you to log in before you enter a code

At Proxy6, the same setup (a private US IPv4, one IP, one month) showed 120 ₽ in the public calculator. The buy button opened registration, so we did not check what the code does on this order.

Proxy6's partnership terms describe a 5% discount for the buyer with a partner coupon. The code researchedxyz and the link to the provider are on the Proxy6 promo code page. Test it in your own account before paying. 120 ₽ is the amount before the coupon, not a confirmed price after it.

The owner of researched.xyz has confirmed the codes in our catalog as working. We do not know when these two offers end. This is not a promise that they run forever. If your current cart rejects the code, the cart result matters more than an old confirmation.

What to send to support

One message with the specific order is enough:

I want to buy a private US IPv4: 1 IP for one month. This is a first purchase / a renewal in an existing account. The code [code] shows [exact message text]. The total before entering it is [amount], after it [amount]. Does the code apply to this order? What should the total be before payment?

Attach a screenshot of the order contents and of the result of entering the code. Hide your email, payment details and proxy passwords. Do not send your account password.

Is it worth changing plan for a discount

Compare the full cost of the order you need with the full cost of the package you are offered. Take this hypothetical calculation: the 10 GB you need costs €30, while a 50 GB package for €100 with a −20% coupon comes to €80. The percentage is bigger, but you would pay more for your task. This is an arithmetic example, not any provider's plan.

First choose static, residential or mobile proxies for the job. Then open a matching code from the promo code catalog. For a private IPv4 you can start with the Proxy-Seller vs Proxy6 comparison, which covers the identical order and the product limits.
